Youth classes are open to swimmers ages 5-13 years old.

Schedule and Price

We have three scheduling options for the group classes. The weekday classes are two days a week for four weeks. You can choose either Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays. We also offer a one day a week class held on Sunday Mornings. Each class is 30 minutes long. Weekday classes are $140 and Sunday classes are $160.

Group class vs Private lessons

If you have a child that is fearful or hesitant of the water, no worries. Our team of well trained teachers can handle anything! Seriously! It is usually harder on nervous parents than it is on the kids. We would like to introduce the fearful children to lessons in a more intimate setting, so please call us so that we can arrange a free one-on-one before enrolling them in a group class. It is important that we give you the best experience possible, and we will do everything possible to ensure that.

We offer two levels for this age group. 

Pre-K swim instruction  Child Level 1 - Beginner

Required Skills:

 Learn coordination of alternating arm and leg actions, rolling to a back float for 5 seconds, then rolling over to front and swim on front. Learn to float of front and recover to a vertical position. Learn to float on back and recover to a vertical position. Upon Successful completetion of this level, your child will be able to glide on front for 2 body lengths, roll to a back float for 5 seconds and recover to a vertical position.

Pre-K swim instruction Child Level 2 - Beginner/Intermediate 

Required Skills:

Learn treading water arm movements, push off wall and swim using combines arm and legs, roll to back and front. Learn front float, back glide, and changing direction while traveling. Upon successful completion of this level, your child will be able to swim on their front jump into 4 feet deep water, push off bottom, move into a treading or floating position for 15 seconds, swim on front and/or back for 15 seconds then exit the water.

  Child Level 3-Intermediate/Advanced

Required Skills: 

Learn how to work head first entry dives,Treading water in deep water, breaststroke & butterfly, streamlining on front. Upon successful completion of this level, your child will be able to push off into a streamlined position the swim front crawl for 15 yards, change position and direction, swim elementary backstroke for 15 yards, then exit the water. This level of swim class really focuses on side breathing on front and introduces develop additional swimming strokes. The primary strokes we concentrate on are freestyle and backstroke, and we introduce and work on the breaststroke and butterfly strokes.


 Child Level 4 - Advanced 

Required Skills: 


Learn dolphin kicking off a streamlined position into freestyle, and backstroke, continue to work on breaststroke refinement and timing, introduce butterfly kick and arm action, work on flip and open turns, and underwater pull down. Upon successful completion of this level, your child will be able swim breaststroke for 15 yards, change direction and swim backstroke 15 yards. The primary strokes we concentrate on are backstroke and breaststroke, and we introduce the butterfly stroke and turns.
